I came to the Oroville area in 1986. I remember thinking what a nice place it is and WOW look at that lake. Since I had four children it seemed like there would be lots for them to do as they grew to adulthood. How right I was! They took to the water like little ducklings and have been using the lake ever since. Oroville is a nice town and when I became a Real Estate Agent in 1989 I was surprised to see just how big this area is. It is close to everything but without the 'big city' stress. If one of us needs a break we can run up to the snow and ski, or drive to Reno in a couple of hours and play. So much, so close.
